The push-to-connect side requires no extra sealing—just push the tube in fully. For the 1/4" NPT male threads, use standard thread sealant (such as PTFE tape or pipe dope) as you would with any NPT fitting.

How do I connect and disconnect the 5/16" tubing?

To connect, cut the tube square, insert it fully into the fitting until it bottoms out, and pull gently to confirm it’s locked. To disconnect, push and hold the blue release ring toward the fitting body while pulling the tube out.
